Hello Friends! How was everyone’s weekend? Can you believe that this is the last full week of February? I know this month is short but seriously, this one flew by! My hopes to be productive this weekend were somewhat stifled by a freak snow storm! Since I live in Az, although in the Northern part, it is rare to get much snow during the winter but it is even more rare to get it in late February. The storm caused road closures, low visibility, and overall not the best driving conditions. Since some of our plans included heading North to do some shopping, we were halted by mother nature as the weather was even worse up north. It was nice and cozy though to stay inside with hot tea and a fire going!
The good news, if you’ve been suffering from cold weather too, is that I have a fabulous beach themed wedding that is sure to make you feel warmer! This couple didn’t leave out any details- from a custom door hanger, to a cigar roller, to mid-night snacks. I bet this was an incredible wedding to be a guest at! The groom is a police officer and there were little hints of that sprinkled throughout the wedding including an NYPD garter. My favorite part is the little laterns that the couple used as favors and also doubled as placecards. They are adorable and look gorgeous all lit up on the table! The wedding and all its lovely details were shot by Mindi and Rich of Verdi Photography. As usual they did a great job and captured it all is a gorgeous way!

This photo makes me wish I wore a veil on my wedding day! Or at least had one to to get some fun photos with!

Beautiful isn’t it? Did it make you feel better or worse to see this warm beach wedding? The Bride had some gorgeous shoes and I decided to save those shots for tomorrow, so you’ll have to come back to see more goodness from this wedding!

Sigh, pictures like this make me long for Long Island beaches. But only the beaches…and my friends and family.
I love the door hanger. Those are so fun!
And I was totally thinking of using beach grass as a centerpiece! I thought it would have been awesome, but at $12 a bunch, it just wasn’t budget friendly.
