Earthy, Simple, and Beautiful.

It’s Monday, in case you hadn’t realized, and if you are feeling a little blue that your weekend is long gone, I have a bit of a treat for you today! I came across a gorgeous styled shoot that included not one but FOUR brides. Four brides are better than one, no? Four brides means four dresses and four bouquets. I mention the bouquets because the shoot was created specifically by photographer Amy Carroll and  Dee Mitchell, of Elements of Elegance, to show off Dee’s amazingly talented floral design skills as well as to promote her wedding coordination business. I asked Amy what they were trying to achieve with this shoot and she said they wanted something “earthy, simple, and beautiful.” I think they nailed it. The lighting, location, and design are absolutely gorgeous and made for some truly wonderful photos. The only problem is that there are SO many great photos that I was forced to break the shoot up into two posts. Lucky for you, you get to see more of this gorgeousness on Wednesday! I just wasn’t willing to let you miss a thing! Today you get to meet just one of the lovely brides, stay tuned to see the rest!

The beautiful Bride above is Loren and the dress she is wearing is actually a $20 Prom dress that Amy had been saving, for an occasion such as this one, in her closet for close to ten years! I think she picked the perfect time to use it, don’t you?
