Last week I featured some of my favorite gift finds that give back in some way to charity. As promised I have a whole new selection this week! I am super excited about some of the finds and love them even more now that I know they benefit charity!
It’s Thursday Purseday so it only makes sense to start with a purse. And this one is fabulous.
The slogan for GUNAS is “Pure Vegan Luxury.” Their goal is to offer superior American made products that don’t exploit animals or the Earth. Not only are their products eco-conscious but they also donate a portion of sales to the Earth Matters Foundation. From PVC Free materials to recycled paper products, this company has got the Earth’s back and the look of the product is never sacrificed.
If you haven’t tried the Buxom line of lip glosses from Bare Escentuals, your lips are majorly missing out. After I started using it, I stopped using ALL other lip gloss brands. This year they have a limited edition shade named “Charity” of course, and proceeds benefit the American Heart Association through their BE Cares program. The cherry red shade is perfect for this time of year and will fit great in a stocking!
This eye shadow palette from Smashbox benefits the Children’s Miracle Network. At $45 it is a steal! In fact Smashbox has a whole line of Wish products that all benefit the cause. You can help change a terminally ill child’s life with a tube of lip gloss. Fantastic!
Prosperity Candle isn’t just a gift, its a mission. A mission to empower women living in areas of social unrest and conflict. The goal is to help these women create businesses that will not only support their families but will also build self confidence. Their website says, “Our vision is bold – we imagine a world lit by millions of points of candlelight, each reflecting the resilience and courage of women who have survived inconceivable hardship and seek to create a better future.”
Considering a Christmas proposal or wishing for one? Ziva Jewels donates 3% of the sales of all their products to a charity of your choice! I spent awhile browsing their stuff and they have endless options to suit any taste. Already married? Put some earrings on your list!
“We are The Valley: Banding Together for Arizona Charities” Charm Bracelets support 11 Arizona charities. Of course I am partial to Camp Soaring Eagle but there are several others to suit your philanthropic taste. For $15 you can have this understated little charm bracelet that makes for a great conversation piece! Giving Bands as they are called are assembled locally by disabled individuals and made from recycled pewter! So much good wrapped up in one little bracelet!
Gilt Groupe is donating a portion of sales to Charity Water this week! If you have never visited Gilt Groupe they have amazing discounts on designer everything from sunglasses to coats! If you like Kate Spade, it is worth the trip.
Would you consider putting some of these items on your Christmas list or purchasing them as gifts? Get more from your gifts this year by investing in those that give back!
