First order of business, did you notice anything new and fabulous on the blog today? Like a new header?! Let me tell you a quick story. I have been wanting to create a new header for awhile now but I didn’t really have any program that would allow me to do that. Just this week we bought Photoshop Elements. (a much simpler and MUCH cheaper version of Photoshop-perfect for non-professionals.) So I figured I’d open it up and bust out something amazing. However it was much more difficult than I expected to learn all the ins and outs of the program. Four hours later I had created a new header myself! I couldn’t achieve anywhere near what I had envisioned so the final product was very simple. I figured as I learned more, I could always update it. I posted it on Twitter and then out of nowhere Megan from Glamour and Grace came to my rescue. She said she was very familiar with Photoshop and would be glad to help. I briefly told her what I was trying to achieve and in ten minutes she had emailed me what you see above. Thank you again Megan- you saved my blog from looking like a Kindergarten craft project! Moving on! I had a fabulous TTD session that I have been saving for a few weeks now because every Friday was an Eve of something and I wanted this post to get full exposure and not be missed. However due to some technical issues, it will have to wait. Prepare yourselves for it next week! Warning: My Grandma will NOT love it. It is pretty extreme. So for today, I thought subtle was best and I also thought I would start the series up after the break with a shoot in the town I live: Sedona! The shoot takes place in West Fork which is an incredible hiking trail in Oak Creek Canyon. If you come to Sedona, go there. You’ll see why in a few. The photographers are Fancy Fin Photography out of Seattle. You may remember them from the incredible Pumpkin Patch Shoot I posted near Halloween. Gorgeous right? Just that scenery alone is worth getting your dress a little wet for! With one trip to the dry cleaners that dress would be good as new!

Love it! It makes me want to go hiking. Except there is probably snow there now and I’m not so much into that. In the spring though, you’ll know where to find me.
