This is completely non-wedding related but just too darn cute not to share. A friend who is also an amazing and creative mom, saw my post about fabric flowers and loved the idea. She set out to make some with her daughter Kaya, who you might remember suggested I serve pizza at the wedding and if I wanted something a little more fancy, I should add a salad. Adorable! Anyway she mixed different fabrics and made a few headbands and put them on some of her shirts. They look great, and Kaya was SO excited about them she ran to show one of her friends as soon as they were complete. Christine, the mom, has an amazing blog filled with other projects, recipes, and all things related to her little ones. For moms and well anyone who likes to eat, her blog is a must visit. Here are a few pictures of her flowers:
Doesn’t she look like a little child model!?
Just imagine if you will, a little girl’s room filled with these flowers! On throw pillows, curtains, or even the bed spread! If you put pins on them you could interchange them or remove them for washing. SO many amazing possibilities. They also liven up plain shirts and simple headbands! Thank you for sharing Chris and Kaya!
