Thursday Purseday: Nothing Like Custom
Earlier this week I did a guest post for Claire on A Realistic Wedding with inspiration for her rehearsal dinner. While creating my board I knew I wanted a super chic clutch. So I immediately went to the Oatmeal Lace shop on Etsy! Oatmeal Lace is the brainchild of fellow newlywed, McKay. Her clutches are beautiful, yes, but they are also handmade and can be customized to your liking. If you have an off beat color palette or are really interested in a specific pattern, McKay can make you the clutch of your dreams. For all those reasons I adore McKay but also because she lists burlap, lace and twine as some of her favorite materials and that is a girl after my own heart! Anyway, I have been dreaming about the clutch I picked for Claire’s post and I knew I wanted to give it a little more exposure as I think it is the PERFECT bridal clutch. For Thursday Purseday I planned to head back to her shop but when I woke up this morning I decided to check Twitter first. What do you know?! I had a message from McKay herself, thanking me for using that bag in my post! That pretty much sealed the deal.
