Happy Thursday! Have you all discovered the pure pleasure that is Pinterest? I can guarantee you I wouldn’t find half the amazing stuff or come across all the amazing blogs I find if it were not for Pinterest. I resisted it’s powers for a long time while others gushed about how wonderful it was. Between blogging, Twitter, Facebook, and actually having a life outside of my laptop screen I figured I did not need one more thing to keep my eyes glued to the computer. But my friends it is filled with inspiration and ideas in a perfectly organized space! They should probably pay me for all these accolades- don’t you think? Anyway because of Pinterest I came across these fabulous burlap covered chargers which lead me to Welcome to the Turner Farm blog. It is a blog about a family who is living out their dream on a farm in Maine. Laurie is a chef who creates all her own recipes and they are restoring their farmhouse by hand. I honestly lost at least an hour of time perusing her blog! Her goal is to grow all her family’s food on her farm which is something Kyle and I would love to do too! Minus that we don’t have a farm. But we do have a garden and I get excited every time I get to walk in the backyard and pluck some fresh herbs or some spinach leaves. But again I digress- basically go look at her blog, it is packed with rustic inspiration!
She created these burlap chargers from leftover burlap and cake rounds during a spring snow storm!
Head over to Welcome to The Turner Farm for a full tutorial and more photos! Wouldn’t these be cute for a wedding or just a sweet dinner party?
