Newlywed recipes: Grapefruit and mint creme brulee

Hello All! I hope you have recovered from all the Super Bowl festivities even if it just meant you ate a lot of dips and tried to avoid the actual game at all costs (Me). After a day of indulging in beer, junk food and all things caloric, if you are like me, you may feel like a serious week of detox is in order. But if you are also like me, the thought of giving up sweet things is tricky. So I bring you a healthy, low cal dessert option.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1-1/4 cups Greek yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon grapefruit zest
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh mint
  • 1/2 a grapefruit, diced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar for topping

For the directions go here.

It’s just the right amount of sweetness and it leaves you with nothing to feel guilty about!

Did you watch the game yesterday? Or did you do something completely non-football related?
