I know it is Saturday and we usually do our TTD sessions on Friday around here but due to the Blogger’s Day of Silence for Japan, you get to experience this fun session on Saturday instead. It is unique in that it includes a group of Brides instead of just one. Kyle and I were just talking about how it was wedding season and by that we meant not the time of year but the time of our lives where everyone seems to be getting married. Many of our friends even have kids…eek… makes me feel old! Anyway, if like us, all of your friends are getting married perhaps you could all get together for a fun little shoot with your girl friends! Something kind of cool is that many of these brides met while interacting on wedding forums something I am all too familiar with! The man behind this great shoot is photographer Kevin Jacobus.
They also did individual shots with each bride and the corresponding grooms. So perhaps, if you could round up a group of couples you might be able to negotiate a good deal with a photographer and then split the cost. It is a great way to get a few more shots as a couple and get some fun and unexpected shots with your friends!

So fun! I would’ve loved to have done this! Love the image of them floating!
Looks like a lot of fun!!
What a cute idea! It looks like they had so much fun together!
Yay, I’m one of the brides in these photos and YES Erika— we had so much together that day! An awesome experience, i recommend every bride does something like this after her wedding day– with her groom or with her girlfriends!
This is pretty cool…
This is so neat – can you imagine how much fun they had doing this together? Love it!
Why not pass on the dress to someone else looking to purchase a used dress? It’s better for the environment to buy used. RecycledBride.com
They could have even earned some money back on those wedding expenses. I understand the emotional motives, but it’s kind of sad to see them trashed.
Most dresses from this type of session are easily cleaned, especially when it’s just water. They look as good as new and can still be donated or sold if the Bride wishes! I agree that it is great to recycle dresses. Trash the Dress is just a fun name and rarely implies a ruined dress.
