I originally stated that we would take suggestions from vendors as to which charities should benefit and then we would take a vote to determine the top 3. Well, it was suggested that maybe more people would be excited about this if they knew the specific charity that would be benefiting. We decided to select one to test out that notion. We will continue to take suggestions from vendors so that a cause they believe in has the opportunity to benefit and we will pick the top two from their choices.
We chose…Camp Soaring Eagle! Camp Soaring Eagle is a camp in Sedona, Arizona for terminally ill children in the southwest. They are still in the stages of building it and they have had some misfortunes throughout the process. Just recently their office was burglarized and several valuable items were taken. We think they deserve a little bit of good will. The mission of the Camp is truly amazing. They have an excellent medical staff, offer the camp stay free to children, and provide hope and joy to both the children and their families. You can check out the specifics on their website at www.campsoaringeagle.org. They are definitely deserving of our support and we hope to create awareness for their wonderful work.
